Comments to the Development of the CY 2012 Medical Quality Review Annual Audit Plan

John D. Pringle has commented by letter on the informally proposed Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation’s Medical Advisor’s CY 2012 Medical Quality Review Annual Audit Plan.  The CY 2012 Medical Quality Review Annual Audit Plan is made up of six sections.  Section II sets out the reasons for medical quality reviews.  Section III sets out the three system participant categories that will be subject to review.

 

A sentence from page 2 of the comments letter is set out below:

 

I submit that the criteria regarding health care is inappropriate and contrary to the Labor Code and therefore unfair to health care providers and injured workers covered by workers’ compensation.
